White Cottage

White Cottage is a 100 year old period cottage sleeping up to 5 people in a rural area on the edge of Pennington Village with unspoilt views across the countryside.

For your comfort White Cottage is made up as follows:-

A very comfortable lounge area with colour television and sky box you are welcome to bring your own sky card (but we have a basic sky card) DVD and video player With comfortable seating and an open fire place. To give the real country atmosphere what a lovely way to finish your day.

A flight of stairs go up to the bedrooms above from the lounge reflected in the mirror opposite.

From the lounge you have direct access to the fully fitted kitchen which also has access to the dining/conservatory.

In the kitchen your will find all the necessary equipment you require from Washing machine, Fridge/freezer, Microwave, Full size oven, gas hob and dishwasher.
The cottage also has benefit of a Water Softener.

Here we have the lovely conservatory which looks out on the the private pretty garden has the benefit of a double sofa bed The Sofa bed can be used as the 5th bed if required.

Upstairs at White Cottage you have two bedrooms and a shower room.

One double bed room shown below and a twin bedded room which can also be made into a double bed.

The shower room has a shower, wc and vanity unit

The village of Pennington is within walking distance and has a one-stop convenience store and post office. There is also a Fish and Chip shop, and a very good chemist as well as two local pubs for you to try. The open New Forest now a National Park is only 2 miles up the road, where you will find so much to do, like taking lovely long walks, horseriding and cycling. You might like to visit many of the attractions in the area leaflets are in the cottage for you to plan your visit on arrival.

If you decide to bring your own bikes we can offer secure storage at the White Cottage

All electricity, gas, bed-linen etc are all included in the tariff, and we let on a
Saturday to Saturday basis from 4pm arrival to 10am departure.

Low season from £300 - High Season from £440.

Directions on how to find White Cottage

To reach the cottage take the A337 between Brockenhurst and Christchurch. At Lymington turn right after the second mini roundabout onto Sway Rd.. After approx. 11/2mls.. turn left at the cross roads and first right onto Upper Common Rd. White Cottage will be seen on the right after 200m From Christchurch, turn left immediately after Pennington shops onto South St. Continue past the church and Pennington common on your left and take the second left into Upper Common Rd White Cottage will be seen on the right after 200m.

If there are only two of you, you might prefer our log cabin "Dahlia" which is in the grounds of our own home in Everton and pictured here. Sleeps 2 has, Comfortable lounge/diner with kitchen. The lounge has TV, Video / DVD,1 double/twin bedroom and provides relaxing and comfortable accommodation for up to 2 guests. Kitchen/Diner with kitchen, Microwave oven, Gas cooker, Fridge, Small freezer. Walk in shower, toilet and washbasin. Private off road parking for one car.
