The house retains many of its original features, notably a very spacious entrance hall with a lovely wooden staircase and a beautiful stained glass window on the first floor landing.

On the ground floor there is a lounge with comfortable sofas, colour surround-sound TV, video and DVD player. There is also a selection of books and magazines for your enjoyment.

Temple Lodge is within easy walking distance to the village of Lyndhurst, the capital of the New Forest, with its many restaurants, public houses and cafes. It is also the home of the New Forest Museum and the Visitor Information Centre. It is an ideal location from which to explore the many villages around the area, and a short drive will take you to the coast or to the many attractions across the forest such as the Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard and Exbury Gardens. Whatever you choose to do, be assured that at the end of your day a warm welcome awaits you at Temple Lodge.

So whether you just stay for a day, a short break, or for your holidays, you will always find genuine
