Shady Oaks Bed and Breakfast at Bransgore near Christchurch in the New Forest
Shady Oaks is a delightful detached bungalow built in 1969 situated in a sunny garden with a summerhouse for your enjoyment in the tiny hamlet of Neacroft on the edge of the New Forest

The accommodation offered at Shady Oaks is of a high standard of
comfort and comprises of:-
Two double rooms, and one single room for Bed and breakfast
Double room
Two Double Bedrooms
One single room.

All bedrooms are centrally heated, have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. Towels are also supplied.
Good home cooking is a specialty at Shady Oaks from a full English breakfast to a vegetarian and special diets on request. A three course evening meal can be supplied by arrangement and all served in the guest dining room and lounge.

All our guests are welcome to sit in the pretty garden or summerhouse and relax and plan their next day's activities.

We have off street parking for your car

Shady Oaks is just one mile from the village of Bransgore and with three public houses within walking distance. Bransgore itself has several small shops including a post office, chemist and newsagent. We hope you will not need it but there are also two medical centres. The nearby village of Burley, famous for its witches, offers good facilities for walking, horse riding, golf, cycle hire or a New Forest Cream Tea.

Shady Oaks is within easy reach of Christchurch with its historic Priory and Norman Keep. Bournemouth, Poole and Salisbury, are within easy travelling distance, and just a few minutes away are the beautiful beaches of Mudeford and Southbourne.

Gill and John Halls look forward to welcoming you to their home but would kindly ask you not to smoke in the bedrooms and regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.

Directions on how to find Shady Oaks

From A31 - When approaching from Ringwood or Southampton on the A31, exit at the pickett post junction, signposted to Burley. When you come into Burley (approximately 2 miles) turn right at the war memorial towards Bransgore. Continue along this road until you reach cross roads with the Crown Pub on the corner, you need to turn left at these cross roads, go by school and church and turn right at the next staggered cross roads, into the hamlet of Neacroft. Go slowly down the lane and take the first turning on the left (Croft Road). Shady Oaks is a little way up on the left hand side.

From A35 - When approaching from Christchurch or Lyndhurst on A 35, take the turning to Bransgore at the Cat and the Fiddle Junction, at the first set of crossroads turn left, take care not to overshoot these small cross roads. Go to the bottom of this lane and turn right, go past telephone box on your left and then look to your right and you will see Shady Oaks
