Mariners Rest is as the name suggests is in a quiet residential road close to Lymington
River, Marinas and Yacht Clubs and only 10 minutes walk to Lymington High Street.

The accommodation that Rita can offer you in her lovely family home where you will find a very warm welcome is:-

  • One deluxe Double room beautifully appointed and overlooking the garden, with ensuite shower room.

  • A double standard bedroom overlook the front of the house and a lovely bathroom next door, with bath and shower over.

    Both rooms have TV and beverage facilities.

For the comfort of my guests, smokers please do not smoke in my home, but you are welcome to in the garden

Mariners Rest is the ideal place to stay for as many nights as you require being close to all amenities. Lymington has a busy market on Saturday and the ferries leave to the Isle of Wight all year round. With 3 excellent places to eat close by or a 10 minute walk will take you to the High Street where you have a choice of 20 plus restaurants and pubs.

For those who wish to visit Beaulieu that is only a short drive away and the New Forest with all it has to offer is just 10 minutes by car. For walkers and bird watchers we have the salt marshes and the Solent Way. Cycle hire is also available nearby and boat trips out to Hurst Castle and round the coastline.

Directions on how to find us

From Lyndhurst follow the A337 to Lymington. On approaching Lymington over round about and under railway arch and take the first left at next roundabout signposted Town Centre. Follow this road over two mini roundabouts you are now in Gosport Street. Continue through Gospost Street keep straight into Captains Row and as the road bends to the left carry straight across into Queens Katherine Road. Then across staggered crossroads into Westfield Road, turn left into Stanley Road, we are the 3rd house on the right.
