Furzey
Garden was established in 1922 and is renowned for its all year
round interest with seating placed throughout the gardens for you
to admire the beauty of the flowering shrubs, the lake and trees
of botanical interest in all seasons. Look out for the heather garden
and fernery, the extensive collection of azaleas and rhododendrons,
and the strange Bottle Brush tree and Flaming Chilean Fire Trees.
All
the buildings in Furzey Gardens have Thatched roofs including Furzey
House which is reported to be the largest thatched cottage in the
