De La Warr House itself is a substantial period manor house set in magnificent grounds with a rural outlook over marshland and views over the Solent and Isle of Wight from the main house.
Our Self Catering Lets
The lets at De La Warr House are ideally located, with the Solent and local marinas nearby and both Lymington Quay and High Street only a short walk away.
The marshland surrounding De La Warr is classed as a SSI (site of special scientific interest), with a variety of birds and local wildlife, including deer, which do occasionally venture into the grounds.
De La Warr House offers plenty of off-road parking as well as a large area suitable for boats and trailers,
making De La Warr House the ideal venue for sailors and crews.
The West Wing
The West Wing was built in the 1980's, offering spacious, well equipped accommodation for up to ten persons.
(The West Wing can sometimes be let for six persons at a reduced rate - out of peak season periods only).

The Cottage
The Cottage was added to the accommodation available to let at De La Warr House in 2004.
It is a separate two bedroom property standing in the grounds with private parking, garden and patio area
and sleeps 5 guests (4 adults and 1 child)
- Double/triple bedroom (including one child-sized bed) with bathroom on the first floor
- Double Bedroom on the ground floor.
- A large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen area
- The Cottage has been equipped to the highest standards including:
- Washer / Dryer machine.

- Fridge / Freezer.

Lymington
Only minutes away from the open forest, the famous yachting haven of Lymington offers many attractions. The delightful High Street demonstrates a variety of Georgian and Victorian architecture, the Town Quay has a wonderful nautical feel and the bustling Saturday street market all contribute to the town's unique atmosphere.
Within Lymington you will find:
- A wide selection of high quality restaurants
- A variety of take-away establishments
- A comprehensive range of essential shops including: Supermarkets (Waitrose, Tesco and Marks & Spencer 'Simply Food')
Butchers, bakers, greengrocers etc. Post Office, newsagents
In addition, the Wight-Link Isle of Wight car ferry operates from Lymington to Yarmouth all year round and there are Solent cruises and trips to the Isle of Wight, Needles & Hurst Castle.
The New Forest
Covering 92,000 acres, the New Forest - now a National Park - is one of the largest areas of open country in England offering many activities and interests:
- Horse riding
- Forest wagon rides (Burley)
- Exbury Gardens
- Beaulieu Motor Museum
- The New Forest Show (the last Tue, Wed & Thur in July)
Tariif ranges from £460 per week (The cottage - low season) to £1350 (The West Wing - High Season)
