A warm welcome awaits you at the Cottage Lodge five-star bed and breakfast in the heart of the Victorian New Forest village of Brockenhurst. This charming beamed property is just a few minutes walk from pubs, restaurants, bike hire, the New Forest cycle network, open forest, horse riding, train station, petrol station and shops.
A superb local breakfast is served in the separate dining room. The breakfast menu is available on our website. It includes vegan and gluten free options. Guests are also invited to try local produce in our small Snug bar and lounge.
All 12 rooms are individually designed and have en-suite facilities. Some have showers, some baths, and some baths with showers over. Please see our website for individual room descriptions, pictures and a room map. Cottage Lodge has five ground floor rooms, four of which have patio gardens. It also has WiFi access and a computer which guests may use. New Forest Ponies, donkeys and sometimes cattle wander past Cottage Lodge, but never come over the cattle grid where you can park in our car park at the front of the building.
The Cottage Lodge is situated just a few mintues walk from the very centre of Brockenhurst where you will see the famous Watersplash where ponies, cattle and donkeys come to drink. The little stream runs right across the main road so drive through slowly if taking your car. Once through the watersplash turn either left or right to enjoy the beautiful New Forest.
Brockenhurst is just south of the centre of the New Forest within a short walk you can be on the beautiful 94,000 acre forest. A short drive (or healthy cycle) is the pretty Georgian village of Lymington and the port for the Isle of Wight Ferry. Also nearby is the Beaulieu Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens both firm favourites with visitors from across the world.
