This is a unique opportunity to stay in an 18th century salt workers cottage on the edge of the Lymington/ Keyhaven marshes overlooking the Isle of Wight, which caters for up to 4 people plus baby. The cottage is attached to the owners home.

Woodlea Cottage was built in the 1750's and still retains the original oak beams, latched doors and cupboard stairway up to the bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms, available consist of , one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds and a cot available on request.

The accommodation comprises:

Lounge with open fire, TV and Video. Also a selection of films and information about the area.

Dining room

Kitchen fully equipped with Washing machine, cooker, microwave etc

Wet room with shower and Toilet.

Central heating througout, Towels, and Bed-linen supplied.

A court yard at the rear of the cottage with a barbecue, table and chairs.

There is also the opportunity to use the owners sauna.

Plenty of parking space is available for car and boat.


Woodlea Cottage is situated on the edge of the Lymington nature reserve in the hamlet of Keyhaven, which is 4 miles from Lymington and the open forest and ½ a mile from Milford on sea.

The 3 minute walk to the harbour offers access to the sea with boat trips to the Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle as well as a public slipway for those wishing to launch a boat. It also joins onto the Solent Way part of the 70 mile footpath, which provides the opportunity to view the many wetland birds and enjoy the stunning views over the Solent.

Woodlea Cottage is also within easy walking distance to the local pub.

Directions on how to find us.

Follow the A337 to Lymington and then staying on the A337 follow the signs to Christchurch and New Milton.
After 2 miles turn left sign-posted Milford-on-Sea. Within 200 yards turn left into Lymore Lane and continue
for about 2 miles. After passing Keyhaven sign, Woodlea Cottage is the first cottage on the
left immediately after a large gravel track on your left
