Tucked away in a quiet moorland setting!
Wicksmead is surrounded by National Trust land in the North of the New Forest. We are away from busy roads being accessed by a forest track, which leads to our 13 acre small holding which is home to a small flock of rare breed sheep and miniature ponies. The self-contained guest accommodation is on the ground floor and accessed by French doors and has triple aspects offering views over paddocks and adjoining heathland.
Wicksmead guest room is light and airy offering:
- King size Bed, linen provided.
- An en-suite shower room but please bring your own towels.

There is an excellent selection of places to eat within a couple of miles radius and some within a comfortable walking/cycling distance, including the Lamb at Nomansland, The Sir Walter Tyrrell by the Rufus Stone and the Rockingham Arms on Canada Common. There is no need to use the car, Bramshaw has a well stocked village shop, alternatively Romsey, Lyndhurst or Morrisions supermarket are each approximately 6 miles away.
Wicksmead is only a couple of miles from the M27 for easy access to Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth. Alternatively, enjoy a drive south through the New Forest to reach the coastal resorts.
Tariff at Wicksmead
From £175.00 to £225.00 per week
to include electricity and bed linen
Short breaks and weekends available - minimum stay 2 nights at £60 per night.
Weekly bookings are Saturday to Saturday normally,
but we are flexible and try to fit in with you and existing bookings.
