Spring Cottage is set at the end of a short private gravel lane, in the south-east corner of the open forest. As you pass the neighbouring properties, you will often find yourself negotiating the village ponies and donkeys as you make your way to the entrance gates. Tucked away behind the gates, our holiday home offers cosy and secluded self catering holiday accommodation, sleeping four in an attached ‘lodge-style’ property, all on one level.
Situated in the New Forest village of East Boldre, Brockenhurst, yet even closer to the quaint villages of Beaulieu & Bucklers Hard, and less than a 10 min drive away to the centre of Brockenhurst and the picturesque market town of Lymington.
The accommodation:
On entering the large entrance hall with vaulted ceiling, doors to the twin bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/diner. A further door leads from the dining area into the comfortable sitting room. Off the rear lobby area, accessed through the kitchen/dining room, is a door to the king size double bedroom overlooking the rear of the property, with en-suite shower room.
- Large Entrance Hall: with vaulted ceiling.
- Sitting Room: Wood-burning stove, two comfortable sofas, TV, DVD and CD/Radio, double-opening French doors to the south-westerly garden and patio, with outside seating.
- Main Bedroom: King-size 5' bed, large wardrobe and drawers, window overlooking rear.
- En-suite Shower Room: With shower, basin and WC.
- Second Bedroom: Two single 3' divan beds, fitted wardrobe, drawers, large window overlooking the front garden.
- Bathroom: Bath with shower over, inset basin and WC.
- Kitchen/Dining: Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob, oven and microwave.
- Enclosed Garden: Set mainly to the front, private and enclosed with a paddock to one side, bordered by trees and shrubs. Wooden garden table and chairs, BBQ.
- Garden Shed: Storage for BBQ and other garden accessories.
- Private Parking: For two cars on gravel drive as you enter through the gates.
- What's Included: The rental price is inclusive of all bed linen, bath towels (please bring own cot bedding and beach towels), utilities and initial basket of logs (in season). Additional supply of logs is available locally. Travel cot, highchair and dining booster seat, available on request.

Spring Cottage, Location:
A short stroll to the village shop at the top of the lane will provide your essentials - including fresh bread, groceries and newspapers. For eating out, there’s the local pub within walking distance and several New Forest pubs a short drive away.
Nearby, within easy walking distance of the cottage is Hatchet Pond, where the sunsets should not be missed! You can walk or relax and enjoy your surroundings amongst the roaming forest ponies and donkeys. Close by, there are a network of cycling routes and bikes may be hired locally.
A 5 minute drive away will take you to the quaint village of Beaulieu, where there are plenty of river walks and the famous National Motor Museum, Beaulieu Abbey & Palace House. Take a leisurely boat cruise from Bucklers Hard or see the beautiful displays at Exbury Gardens. Riding at Brockenhurst (5mls) and, in the opposite direction, Lymington (5mls) with its marina and cobbled walkways and the Lymington Ferry to the Isle of Wight.
