Stay in a beautiful converted chapel on the edge of the New Forest.
The Old Chapel was originally built as a Baptist Church in around 1836. It has been carefully restored and updated to provide quiet and relaxing Bed & Breakfast accommodation. It is situated opposite the owners’ house on the other side of the gravel courtyard, allowing you complete freedom and independence.
The Old Chapel is in a quiet lane on the edge of Sway village which has its own shops, post office, and an excellent pub. The New Forest is on your doorstep, with cattle grazing, and ponies and donkeys wandering a few yards away. Brockenhurst, Lymington and the coast are all a short drive away. The area is excellent for walking, running and cycling. The shops and nightlife of Southampton and Bournemouth are easily accessible by road and rail.
The chapel offers a choice of 2 non-smoking ground floor bedrooms.

The Family Room
This large and luxurious bed/ sitting room sleeps up to 4 people. It has a superking size double bed that can be split into a twin on request, and a comfy sofa that converts to a bed. A folding bed suitable for younger children is also available. We can provide a travel cot and high chair for babies.
The high ceiling and huge decorated glass window make this a distinctive and unique place to stay. The décor is complemented by a full size dining table and chairs, as well as a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. A pine dresser contains china, glass and cutlery so you may eat in if you wish. There is a digital TV with DVD.
A separate kitchenette has a mini-cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. A washing machine/ drier, iron and ironing board is shared with the Green Room.
A large en-suite bathroom providing a bath/ shower, bidet and WC completes this stunning room.
The Green Room
A light and airy double room which sleeps 2 in comfort, the Green Room has stripped floors and half-lined timber walls. There is a digital TV and DVD player
A mini kitchen is tucked away behind cupboard doors, offering fridge, toaster, kettle, and microwave, with basic kitchen utensils. A washing machine/ drier, iron and ironing board are shared with the Family Room.
An en-suite bathroom with WC, bath, and separate shower makes this the perfect room for couples who just like doing their own thing.
We will provide everything you need for a Continental breakfast to be eaten whenever you wish. If you’re staying in the Family Room we’ll provide the ingredients for a cooked breakfast.
If you wish to explore the New Forest by bike we know a very good bicycle hire shop who will deliver and collect from the Old Chapel.

Directions
Follow M3 and M27 West (towards Bournemouth). Exit M27 at Jn1. Take A337 (South) to Lyndhurst. Follow Lyndhurst one way system towards Brockenhurst/ Lymington.
On reaching Brockenhurst, turn right opposite Carey’s Manor Hotel (signposted Sway). At T-junction turn left then immediate right (effectively a staggered cross-roads).
Follow Sway Road until T-junction. Turn right and follow road across forest, passing under 2 railway bridges.
Take 2nd turning left into Pitmore Lane (if you pass the Hare & Hounds you have gone too far).
In Pitmore Lane take 2nd right turn into Coombe Lane after 200 metres.
We are 1st drive on the left immediately after Chapel Lane (also on your left)
Drive into courtyard and ring at Chapel House (blue front door on your right).
