The Annex at NewForest Borders is a lovely self catering holliday cottage, ideal for two people and is attached to the owners property and is situated In the heart of Damerham village.
Our Accommodation
The Annex at New Forest Borders comes equiped with a kitchen has all that is required for everyday use: cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and washing machine etc. There are two tea towels, one hand towel and one tablecloth provided.
The sitting room/dinning rooom has a television, radio and electric fire. There are two chairs to relax in and a fold down dining table and chairs if you wish to dine in.
The Bathroom has a large shower unit, and we provide two bath-sized towels and two hand towels for your use.
The bedroom has twin divans, both complete with all bedding, sheets, pillowcases, duvets etc. Extra blankets are provided. There is also a wardrobe available. The local area
Damerham is a lovely little rural village, which has all the local amenities with the River Allen flowing through. The village has three churches, Methodist, Baptist and Church of England and there are many nice walks along water meadows to the local trout lakes, where you can get a day fishing ticket when in season.
- Damerham is about 4 miles from the New Forest town of Fordingbridge, where most everyday goods may be bought.
- Ringwood is about 7 miles away and is widely known for its market held every Wednesday, when the town is packed to overflowing.
- Salisbury, well known for its beautiful Cathedral and grounds, is about 11 miles from Damerham. It is a fantastic shopping centre and also has a large market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Salisbury City Hall and Playhouse are always worth a visit.
- A half hour drive away is the well known seaside town of Bournemouth. It has lovely golden sands, beautiful gardens, and has a great deal to offer whatever the time of year.
Damerham is on the edge of the New Forest. The forest is known for its ponies, deer and other wild life, it is overflowing with picturesque landscapes and wild natural beauty, and as plenty for you to enjoy and discover.
