Leeway cottage is a spacious 2 bedroom holiday apartment over 3 levels situated off the quiet end of the high street in Milford-on-Sea.
This quaint Hampshire village which hosts a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs has managed to preserve village life, which is clearly demonstrated by the warm welcome the locals give you.
Just 10 minutes walk to the sea and a couple of minutes walk to the charming village green of Milford which host numerous festivals during the summer season.
The Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4+2 guests in one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. A cot for baby with linen is also included.
Leeway Cottage
- The small but bright well equipped kitchen is located on the first floor. It has a large window and contains a washing machine/dryer, an electric oven, gas hob with extractor hood, microwave and fridge with a small freezer compartment. The flooring is cushioned tiled motif.
- The large living room is also on the 1st floor and has a lovely original wooden floor with an oak beam across the ceiling. These is a rustic dining table with 6 matching chairs, a chest of drawers and a two seater leather, comfortable sofa bed, two puffs, 32" flat screen TV, DVD player and phone for incoming and emergency calls only.
- The master bedroom had a 5' wide beautiful brass bed with a quality mattress, bedside tables and wardrobe. There is a dormer window with a light excluding blind and a wooden cot.
- The twin room has two 3' wooden beds with quality mattresses and is tastefully decorated with a matching bedside table and a double wardrobe.
- The bathroom is bright and spacious and is located on the second floor. It has a quaint slanted roof with a dormer window and contains a bath with shower over, c/w shower screen, toilet and a washbasin.
The local area
Leaway cottage is an ideal location to explore the New Forest. There is an abundance of paths for you to enjoy on foot, bicycle or horseback. Milford on sea beach is just a ten minute walk from the cottage and you can walk on from here along the Solent Way West to Barton, Christchurch or Bournemouth or East to Lymington, Beaulieu or Hythe.
