Holly House is a comfortable, pretty house set in a quiet location where ponies and donkeys wander by the front gate on their way to drink at the nearby watersplash. The open forest is practically on the doorstep, yet Brockenhurst village centre is only a 5 minute walk away through Angel Valley with a great choice of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Holly House Holly House is very quiet, our choice of rooms help to ensure you have the perfect New Forest Holiday where you will wake up to the sound of bird song, a passing car is a rare event in Fathers Field.

• Double en suite at £80 per night for two people with breakfast. The bed is a super king 6’ double Tempur mattress.
• Double Room with a shared bathroom at £70 per night for two with breakfast. The bed is a comfortable 5’ Kingsize. Views across the garden. Whisper quiet with only the sound of birds to wake up to.
• Twin room with shared bathroom. Sleeps two in comfortable full size bunk beds, with an extra pull-out bed available. £60 per night for two people £80 per night for three. Separate shower room. Views across the garden, very quiet.

Breakfast

Breakfast at Holly House isServed in the conservatory overlooking the garden. Choose from full English, vegetarian cooked breakfast, French toast with maple syrup or a fresh fruit plate with yoghurt. Accompanied by a bottomless pot of freshly brewed coffee or tea and homemade jams and marmalades.

Discover the New Forest

There’s so much to do in the New Forest. To simply walk and explore is a joy. Hire bikes - or even a tandem - go horse riding, take the ferry to the Isle of Wight, visit beautiful Beaulieu or go to the beach. We’re only four miles from the yachting town of Lymington with its marinas, shops and restaurants - and the Saturday Market is a must.

There’s a very good choice of restaurants and pubs in Brockenhurst, all within walking distance of Holly House.

• Brookleys in the village high street. Good reports from guests about the food.
  
• Blaireau Bistro at Cary's Manor Hotel. French influence such as Moules et Fritte. They use local, mostly organic produce.
  
• Senspa Thai restaurant also at Cary's Manor Hotel.
  
• Il Palio Italian restaurant in the station car park. My guests love the atmosphere and the food.
  
• Yenz Chinese restaurant by the level crossing. Smart and modern.
  
• The Thatched Cottage
  
• Passage to India Indian Restaurant in the village street.
  
• Brock and Bruin Tea Rooms in the village street.
  
• Rose and Crown Pub. All the food is cooked on the premises, so fresh vegetables. The carvery is excellent.
  
• Snakecatcher. The kitchen now taken over by the Thatched Cottage Restaurant. Great menu very well cooked from snacks to full meals
  
• Foresters Arms by the station, good home cooked food and local ales.
  
• The Hobler Inn is a couple of miles on the road to Lymington. Good food, huge portions, local ales.
