Harlicks
is a picturesque cottage, tastefully decorated throughout and
with the family's personal collection of vases, bowls and heirlooms
in every room giving a homely, comfortable appearance. . From
here you can have a lovely walk along the Beaulieu river to Buckler's
Hard which is an 18th Century ship building village. No longer
used for building ships some of the cottages are now part of an
interesting museum. There are river trips and you might like to
sit in the Master Builders House, for tea, coffee a cool beer
or glass of wine.. Exbury Gardens famous for its rhododendrons
and azaleas is a short distance away.
There are a couple of
local pubs and restaurants close by. The attractive small towns
of Lymington and Brockenhurst are both 6 miles away and have a
variety of restaurants and cafes. A ferry for the Isle of Wight
operates between Lymington and Yarmouth.

Follow the M3 bypassing Winchester.
Join the M27 westbound following signs to Bournemouth.
Leave
the M27 at junction 2 signposted to Salisbury. Turn left at the
roundabout, following the Brown Tourist Board signs for Beaulieu
A326
Continue
along this road until you reach Dibden Purlieu. Turn right at
the roundabout onto the B3054 sign posted to Beaulieu. Passing
the Montagu Arms on your left. Turn immediately left through the
High Street. Turn left. onto B 3054 Harlicks is the second (2nd)
house on the right with a five barred gate. If arriving at night
lights will lighting up the house for you.
