Forester's Cottage in a Cob cottage in the New Forest

Forester's is a detached, ground level cottage on our farm. Beautifully restored, retaining the original 200 year old cob, offering charm and quality. With the comfort of gas central heating, the cottage is very well equipped and maintained.

The open plan sitting room with rugs on slate floors is furnished in a relaxed country style and overlooks the sunny enclosed patio garden to the stables and fields.

At home entertainment includes TV, DVD, Video, radio/cd/cassette, books and games.

The fitted kitchen kept immaculately clean includes a washing machine with tumble dryer, microwave,oven and hob with extractor fan, refrigerator. In addition, the barbecue and garden furniture invite alfresco dining for summer evenings.

Both double and twin bedrooms have timbered vaulted ceilings, pretty floral linens and en-suite shower rooms with w.c and hand basin.

Towels and linens are included with beds freshly made for your arrival.

A large travel cot is available for use with your own nursery bedding.

Ideally situated between coast, forest and beautiful open countryside, the locality offers excellent walks, cycling and horse riding, as well as a variety of water-sports. Nearby, Moors Valley Country Park offers golf, cycle hire, miniature steam railway, tree-top trail and adventure playground. The New Forest and Dorset have a unique environment of special scientific sites and a wealth of interests and events. In addition, shops, nightlife, theatres and cinemas are all within easy reach. An abundance of local fresh food is available from farmers markets, local organic outlets, quayside stalls, local shops and town markets, pubs and restaurants.
