Our B&B Accommodation

- The rooms are newly converted and furnished and are situatied within a quiet house in a peaceful location. There is ample off road parking at the front of the property.
- Rooms are on the ground floor and the double room has private facilities.
- Sorry, we can not take pets.
- We are a totally non smoking establishment.

The New Forest countryside is superb for walking, riding and cycling and where wild animals such as ponies, cattle and donkeys roam freely. There are some lovely villages, walks and country pubs and also some very interesting places to visit as listed below:
- Lyndhurst, known as the "Capital of the New Forest", an attractive town with narrow streets and an impressive parish church. bullet point Swan Green - a local beauty spot, on the outskirts of Lyndhurst on which stand several picturesque thatched cottages.
- Rhinefield - a route running through the New Forest with beautiful countryside all around - ancient beech and pine forest - plus rhodedendrons in Spring.
- Bolderwood - a nearby park which offers numerous woodland walks and views over a deer park. bullet point Fordingbridge - a quiet town with a graceful 7-arch 14th Century stone bridge beneath which flows the river Avon.
- Brockenhurst, famous for its country shows in the heart of the new forest with pastures where the wild ponies graze, shady streams and colourful broadland woods.
- Burley - an attractive village set high above the river Avon and has some pretty teashops and pubs as well as a number of quaint gift shops.
- Beaulieu visitor Centre - most famous for its motor museum with a collection of more than 250 historic vehicles. You can also visit the main house, known as Palace House rebuilt in Victorian times with beautiful grounds and ornamental gardens. Also in the grounds are the remains of an ancient cistercian monastery.
- Bucklers Hard - an old maritime village famous for its shipbuilding in the early 17th century. The village itself overlooks the Quay and is lined by pretty red brick houses.
- Not forgetting Eling Tide Mill in Totton, one of the oldest working tide mills in the world, which still produces flour on a daily basis.
Easy to find B&B
- We are east to access from the M27, Come off at junction 2 and follow signs to Totton and Lyndhurst.
- Go straight over the first two roundabouts and at the third turn right into Fletchwood Road.
- The road will bear round to the left and become Ashurst Bridge Road.
- Argate is the first house on the right hand side.
