The New Forest meets the sea at Lepe Country Park

The New Forest National Park meets the sea at Lepe and at Keyhaven, both areas are unique and different but both areas are linked to our Military past.

At Keyhaven you can discover Hurst Castle, a large fortified fort that you can visit today, either by walking our along the shingle or catching the ferry from Keyhaven A long walk on a blustery day, but stunning views of the Needles Lighthouse, once inside you can discover the history for yourself.

At Lepe there is a country park to explore, and you can discover what looks like giant chocolate bars on the beach made from concrete, and learn about the vital role they had in the D-Day Landings.

At both destinations there are county lanes to explore by bike, there is enough sand to build sand castles, and activities to stimulate your interest.
